School and business together for sustainability: 2025 education project
The world is changing rapidly, and companies increasingly need young, well-prepared, and dynamic people. At the same time, new generations bring an innovative vision and digital approach that businesses can no longer ignore. The best growth opportunities arise from the exchange between experience and fresh ideas.
For this reason, for the past two years, the Don Milani Institute of Montichiari and AIM (Association of Montichiari Enterprises) have been collaborating to create a bridge between school and business. This project allows students to engage directly with local companies, discovering how they operate and tackling real challenges.
This year, Rima has chosen the theme of sustainability, involving two final-year classes – 5B PSC and 5B SIA – in an ambitious project: developing a communication plan for the 2024 sustainability report.

A project for the future: communicating sustainability
In 2024, Rima worked on its first sustainability report, a key document to:
- Measure its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance
- Identify areas for improvement to promote sustainable growth
- Define new objectives in line with environmental and social responsibility
Students will develop a communication strategy to:
- Share the report’s findings within the company
- Communicate externally, strengthening transparency towards stakeholders
- Engage the entire company in sustainability
The project launch: an event to inspire and engage
On Wednesday, 26 February, Rima officially launched the project at the Don Milani Institute.
The company met with several classes to present its sustainability journey, explaining:
- Why it decided to measure its environmental and social impact
- What goals it has set for the future
- How businesses can drive sustainable change
Following this, Rima officially introduced the project to the two participating classes, which now begin the operational phase.
A winning experience for students and businesses
Working with a company allows students to:
- Apply what they learn in a real business setting
- Gain marketing and communication experience
- Develop awareness of sustainability
For businesses, collaborating with young people means opening up to fresh perspectives and new ways of communicating.
Today’s students have a natural adaptability to technology and a flexible mindset, valuable for companies operating in an increasingly unpredictable world.
A virtuous collaboration between school and business
This project is part of a broader AIM initiative to connect young people with the world of work. Thanks to partnerships with local businesses, students can:
- Visit companies and understand how they operate
- Take part in internships and training experiences
- Develop practical skills through real projects
The collaboration between Rima and the Don Milani Institute demonstrates how businesses and students can shape the professionals of tomorrow together.
