The publication of the UNI EN ISO 5216:2024 standard marks a significant milestone for the trailer industry in Europe. It is the first regulation specifically dedicated to ball bearings for trailers, an essential component for ensuring stability and safety in heavy transport vehicles. This standard, which establishes design, performance, and safety requirements, is the result of important teamwork conducted by the international committee ISO/TC 22/SC 40/WG 1, in which SIRCA Sa – GRUPPO RIMA has served as Project Leader in collaboration with other European manufacturers.
