RIMA S.p.A. informs candidates that the personal data submitted via the “Careers” section of the website will be processed for purposes related to the evaluation of professional profiles and the management of the recruitment process.

1) Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Personal data are processed exclusively for recruitment, selection, and assessment of candidates. Providing data is optional; however, failure to do so will make it impossible to consider the application.

Processing is based on:

• the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);

• the explicit consent of the data subject for the processing of special categories of personal data that may be included in the CV (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

2) Data Processing Methods and Retention

Data will be processed using electronic and/or paper-based tools, in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner.
Data will be retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of receipt of the CV, after which they will be deleted.

3) Consent to Processing

Each CV submitted must include explicit consent for the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR. In the absence of such consent, the data will be immediately deleted and will not be taken into consideration.

Recommended wording to include in the CV:
“I authorise the processing of my personal data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for the purpose of recruitment and selection.”

4) Data Disclosure and Sharing

Data will not be disseminated. They may be disclosed solely to authorised personnel or to external recruitment service providers appointed as Data Processors.

5) Data Subject Rights

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

• access their personal data;

• request rectification or erasure of data;

• object to or request restriction of processing;

• withdraw the consent provided;

• lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
