There are people who, through their daily work, help build not only the history of a company, but also its most authentic identity. This is the case of one of Rima’s long-standing employees, who is concluding his professional journey after 43 years of service, leaving a profound mark on the company and on all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
He joined the company when Rima was still a small business and witnessed every stage of its growth, accompanying its development into the structured international group it is today. He saw generations of young employees join and grow within the company and helped pass on those values of dedication, reliability and respect that remain at the heart of Rima’s culture.

Over the years, he played a key role in managing the robotic painting system, one of the company’s most important and technologically advanced investments. A modern, fully automated plant that he led with expertise and responsibility together with Sandro, Stefano and Islam.
His contribution, however, went far beyond the technical and professional aspects of his role. For many years, he also served as the company’s workers’ safety representative, demonstrating a deep sensitivity towards workplace safety, a value that has always been central to Rima.
Alongside his daily commitment, he also helped preserve one of the company’s most cherished traditions: the “pane e salame” Christmas gathering, held every year on the last morning before the Christmas closure. A tradition born when the company employed little more than ten people and which still today represents a meaningful moment of sharing and belonging for everyone, including the newest employees.
To celebrate this important milestone, the company commissioned a personalised glass plaque created by master glassmaker Raffaele Darra. A unique handcrafted artwork inspired by his professional journey and his connection to the world of painting, through colours and details that reflect his daily work. A symbolic tribute to someone who, for more than four decades, quite literally brought colour to steel, leaving a lasting mark on the company’s growth.
His retirement represents an important milestone not only for him, but for the entire company, which proudly celebrates a person who leaves behind both a professional and deeply human legacy.
On behalf of everyone at Rima, thank you for the trust, dedication, commitment and extraordinary humanity shown throughout these 43 years.
